Life With Toddlers

A few years ago, I started keeping a six week old baby boy.  That baby is now a walking, talking, two year old handful!  He now has a sweet little 4 month old baby sister that I also keep.  Due to financial circumstances, they don't come every day, just about 3 or 4 days a week.  I LOVE these kids!  Just like they are my own.

Because I knew they would be cutting back on their time here, and because I enjoy the company, I started keeping a 2 year old girl, November 1st. 

Let me tell you!

She is something else!

She knows everything!  She repeats everything.  She asks WHY about EVERYTHING! 

It amazes me, the difference between the two toddlers, and they are less than a month apart in age.

Every day when I put my makeup on, she wants some, too.  So I pretend that I put it on her.  I tell her to sit still so I can put the mascara on.  Then I tell her not to touch her eyes because they are wet.

A few days ago, Kennedy came in from school and sat down beside her.  When she asked her what she was doing, Isabella told her that her eyes were wet.  Kennedy asked her why they were wet?  Did she have mascara on?  Isabella said, "No.  Not your scara, MY scara."  So I guess she thinks that's what I'm saying....Putting on my scara!

A Fresh Start

Because I want to do it differently this time.

To do it better.

I said I couldn't find the time, but I really just couldn't find the words I wanted to say.   I love the bloggy world.  Love to read the stories others tell, the things others are doing, food they're making.

With facebook and instagram, I take pictures almost daily.  I want to share these and tell the stories behind them.

So, I'm starting with this new address.

Clean house, so to speak.
